Dimitrios C. Liapis is the Medical Laboratory Director and CEO of Vascular Research SA, a private medical research and primary healthcare provider specializing in vascular, cardiac and coagulation disorders and related comorbidities (VR). He holds dual M.Sc. degrees in Medical Molecular Genetics and Applied Biology/Biotechnology from the Universities of Aberdeen, Scotland UK and Ioannina, Greece respectively. With VR, he has participated as a researcher, medical writer and study coordinator in two European projects related to remote patient care. His main research interests lie in the medical fields of hemostasis-thrombosis and the cardiovascular system.
