Just even started!
The 11 selcted startups of Batch #4 got their first impression of the intensiv and highly beneficial 100 days of the Health Hub Vienna Acceleration Program.
Onboarding & Partner Information
After the new startups had been briefed on the contents, goals and expectations of the 4th batch in the premises of HHV partner Wolf Theis, it was then the turn of the HHV core partners to take part. Representatives of UNIQA, Boehringer Ingelheim and Pfizer introduced themselves and their company and explained how they could provide concrete assistance to the incubees.
In the Speed Dating that followed, the startups met 26 hand-picked mentors to introduce themselves and their business model. The resulting “heat map” of potential mentor-mentee matches served as an orientation aid to ensure optimal mentorships.
The final Welcome Dinner in the Urania Observatory opened up new perspectives. After the sky had cleared up and Mars and Saturn could be spotted through the telescope, there was enough time for corporates, mentors and start-ups to network and get to know each other better in the beautiful ambience of the restaurant Klyo.
The HealthCare Ecosystem in Austria & Facilitator Round Tables
Filip Conic from Roland Berger, Nici Popper (wire goods retailer) and health economist Maria Hofmarcher-Holzhacker spoke in three keynote speeches about the special features, challenges and opportunities of the Austrian healthcare system and how to use public health data.
Afterwards, the Facilitator Round Tables dealt with how individual solutions can be created from the “needs” of the HHV partners and the solutions of the HHV start-ups. This is also one of the main goals of the Health Hub Vienna. To create tailor-made customer projects for the HHV partners based on state-of-the-art products and services.
